About the Job
We are seeking a tech-savvy IT Specialist to join our team, with expertise in supporting Windows and MacOS, hardware troubleshooting, and networking technologies. The IT Specialist provides first and second-level support for software, hardware, and network issues, resolves user-reported technical problems, manages IT tickets, and escalates as necessary. Additionally, this role handles user provisioning, account administration, IT equipment shipments, inventory management, and hardware/software installations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

What You’ll Do:
Provide tier-one support for hardware and software issues, manage tickets, document incidents, and prioritize urgent requests.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows, MacOS, software, hardware, and network systems.
Diagnose and fix issues with computers, printers, peripherals, and conferencing equipment to maintain operational efficiency.
Manage user account creation, modification, and deactivation, while coordinating IT equipment setup and collection.
Track and resolve support requests using Jira Service Management and maintain accurate records of IT assets.
Deliver professional and responsive customer service, ensuring timely resolution of user inquiries and issues.
Participate in after-hours support rotation to address critical IT issues outside regular business hours.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience, with at least 3 years in an IT support role.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A, Network, and Security preferred.
Proficiency in supporting both MacOS and Windows, Microsoft 365/Office, and Active Directory for user provisioning and account management.
Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, conferencing equipment, and familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools like Microsoft InTune.
Familiarity with CAD and CNC applications in engineering and manufacturing environments.
Strong problem-solving skills with a structured approach to diagnosing technical issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.
Detail-oriented and organized, with experience maintaining documentation and asset inventory.
Willingness to work various shifts, overtime, and respond with minimal notice when necessary.

Compensation:
Yearly salary range: $60,000 to $70,000
Compensation will be determined by a number of factors including educational background and experience.
