Day to Day task include:
- System design, installation, configuration, testing for the upgrade / remediation of Public Safety Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS) systems
- Installation, upgrading, and/or patching of COTS software, both on a Server and Client machines.
- Support for existing COTS software with the intent to upgrade / remediate security vulnerabilities and modernize the application.
- Securely design, upgrade / implement modern Windows COTS based systems.
- Production System Support: Troubleshoot Server, Network or Database related system issues.
Requested Qualifications:
- 84 months experience Installing, Upgrading, Patching, and Troubleshooting Server based Software Products
- 24 months experience in supporting Server Operating Systems
- 24 months experience in Web Server administration
- 24 months experience in Network troubleshooting
- 24 months experience in Database client installation and configuration
- 24 months experience in Security Principals
- 24 months experience in System Architecture and Design
Work hours and location:
- Full time role with engagement length of 30 months
- Daily work hours: 8 hour days (time ranging from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm)
- Physical office location: 80 S. Swan Street , Albany, NY , 12210
- Telecommuting options: Negotiable
