Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Integrator to join our team as a contractor, providing support to the United States Air Force. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing the IT strategy for a major IT Enterprise effort. Your responsibilities will encompass working closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and IT specialists, to design, develop, and implement IT solutions that ensure seamless integration of data and technology across the enterprise.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Key Responsibilities
- IT Strategy Development: Develop and refine IT strategy to support military construction efforts, aligning technology solutions with project objectives and goals.
- Systems Integration: Design and implement robust IT systems and infrastructure for interoperability and integration with existing systems and equipment.
- Security and Compliance: Establish and maintain rigorous cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive military data, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Network Infrastructure: Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of secure and reliable network infrastructure to support construction operations.
- Data Management: Manage data storage and retrieval systems, ensuring data availability, accuracy, and integrity for project planning and execution.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with external technology vendors and partners to procure necessary hardware, software, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and training.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget for the construction effort, optimizing resource allocation and cost control.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, configurations, and processes.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in IT infrastructure and develop mitigation plans.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with project stakeholders to provide updates on IT progress and address concerns.
- Advanced IT Skills: Deal with Data transport, ATO, cross-domain solution, PL5 system, crypto-shredding, and navigate policy and process hurdles effectively.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
- Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT leadership roles, focusing on systems integration and construction project support.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances.
- Strong knowledge of military construction processes and requirements.
- Proficiency in IT project management methodologies.
- Expertise in cybersecurity best practices and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Classified IT systems, networks, hardware, and software.
- Demonstrated experience in system administration, network administration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Air Force IT policies, guidelines, and security standards.
- Professional certifications (CISSP, PMP, ITIL, CompTIA, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft certifications) are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
