Role: IT Support Analyst
Location: Fife, WA - onsite
Annual Salary: $58K-62K
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to users through phone, email, chat, or in-person interactions.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications.
- Assist users with step-by-step troubleshooting, escalating complex issues to relevant teams when necessary.
- Document technical inquiries, incidents, and resolutions for reference and reporting.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to tackle advanced technical problems.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry developments to enhance support services.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and system health checks.
- Provide user training and technical assistance as required.
- Ensure data security and confidentiality in all interactions.
Qualifications:
- Experience in technical support or a related role.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to manage stressful situations effectively.
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
- Solid knowledge of computer systems, networks, and peripherals.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications) are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when needed.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Experience with specific software or operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS).
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Familiarity with mobile devices and mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
