We are seeking for an experienced and customer-focused IT Helpdesk Support Specialist to join our team in providing exceptional first-level IT support. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering technical assistance across desktop hardware, software, and telecommunications, supporting network connectivity, and addressing troubleshooting needs. The ideal candidate has a strong background in IT support and is well-versed in working with Windows and Apple iOS devices. In addition, you will provide essential A/V support for events, ensuring a seamless experience for end-users.
The IT Helpdesk Support Specialist will serve as the initial point of contact for IT-related inquiries and issues, focusing on delivering timely, quality support and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include configuring workstations, maintaining end-user hardware and software, supporting networked devices, and managing software installations. Additionally, the role requires flexibility to support A/V requirements for events as needed and maintain IT security protocols.
Responsibilities
The base range for this contract position is $27 - $37/per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for end-user computers (HP) and mobile devices (iPhone/iPad)
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues, escalating as necessary
- Collaborate with various IT support groups to optimize support delivery
- Assist with imaging, configuration, and deployment of laptop and desktop systems
- Support the maintenance and setup of all end-user hardware and software
- Manage configurations for IOS wireless devices, applications, and network printers
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions in ticketing systems
- Provide A/V support for on-site events as required
- Track IT assets using hardware/software management tools
- Transport and install IT equipment as needed
- Ensure adherence to IT security policies and assist in password management
- Certificate or degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
- Relevant industry training (CTS) or technical certifications preferred
- 4+ years of experience in IT helpdesk support
- Proficiency with Apple iOS and Windows OS devices
- Experience with A/V support in conference rooms preferred
- A+ or MCSE certifications are a plus
- Strong troubleshooting abilities for Windows 10, MS Office, Office365, VPN connectivity, and hard disk imaging
- Excellent multitasking skills to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Exceptional communication and technical problem-solving skills
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to resolve complex issues efficiently
