About the Role:
As an IT Support Analyst in our Wholesale Trade company, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees. You will be the first point of contact for any IT-related issues and will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving them in a timely manner. Your main goal will be to ensure that our employees can work efficiently and effectively with the technology we provide.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an IT Support Analyst or similar role
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
- Respond to queries either in person, over the phone, or via email
- Maintain daily performance of computer systems
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software
- Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems
Skills:
As an IT Support Analyst, you will use your strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. You will also use your excellent communication skills to provide technical assistance and support to our employees. Your ability to work independently and in a team environment will be crucial in ensuring that our employees can work efficiently and effectively with the technology we provide. Additionally, your familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software, as well as your certifications in relevant areas, will be beneficial in this role.
Work Environment/ Physical Demands
Typical office environment- moderate noise level. The position regularly requires standing; walking; sitting; use hands; reaching with hands and arms; and talking and or/hearing. Occasional lifting and /or moving up to 25 pounds.
