We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Remote IT Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users remotely, ensuring their IT systems are functioning efficiently.
As a Remote IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues. You will be expected to have strong problem-solving skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a deep understanding of various IT systems and software. Your main goal will be to ensure our end-users have smooth and seamless technology experiences.
Responsibilities
Provide remote technical support and assistance to end-users, resolving IT-related issues in a timely manner.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems remotely.
Install and configure computer systems, software, and peripherals.
Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
Conduct regular system maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with IT team members to resolve complex technical issues.
Create and maintain accurate documentation of support processes and procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience of at least 2 years working as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Familiarity with Active Directory and Office 365 administration.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
