About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our technical support team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive Tier 1 and 2 support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure excellent service delivery to our organization.
IT Support Specialist Responsibilities
- Deliver Tier 1 and 2 technical support for software and hardware systems
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues using established procedures
- Perform root cause analysis and develop prevention protocols
- Maintain knowledge and call tracking databases
- Provide technical guidance and informal training to end users
- Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive support coverage
- Contribute to documentation and process improvement initiatives
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or related field
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Apple Macintosh, and Apple iOS systems
- Strong understanding of networking architecture and protocols
- Proven track record of excellent customer service and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
- Experience with information security concepts and principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Availability for 24/7 on-call support rotation (laptop and phone provided)
- Physical ability to:
- Lift up to 25 pounds unassisted
- Lift up to 50 pounds with assistance (infrequently)
- Stand or walk for extended periods as needed
- Passion for technology and commitment to continuous learning
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellence in team collaboration and knowledge sharing
