IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) is seeking a proactive, self-motivated IT Support Specialist who will provide essential technical support to our team across both onsite and remote locations. This hybrid onsite role provides helpdesk support, IT systems administration, and strategic planning to enhance our cloud-based IT environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft cloud suite, as well as a keen interest in researching and implementing improvements to existing IT systems. This role requires the ability to handle incoming support requests promptly and efficiently, manage day-to-day system administration, and contribute to the planning and rollout of new IT tools and solutions and long-term goals.

Responsibilities
- Respond to user requests for IT support via ticketing system, phone, email, or in person, providing timely and courteous support both onsite and remotely.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows OS, network, printing, Office 365, and various software applications (Windows 10/11, Adobe, Microsoft software suite, Office 365 including but not limited to Outlook including personal folders, OneDrive, Teams, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint Designer, and similar, browser issues, and other third-party auxiliary software)
- Configure, administer, and support Microsoft Exchange accounts including user mailboxes, shared mailboxes, distribution lists, mail-enabled security groups, and maintaining the Global Address List.
- Prioritize, escalate, and document support issues, ensuring a clear record of problem-solving steps, final resolution, and lessons learned.
- Install, image, configure, and troubleshoot hardware including laptops, desktops, printers, network equipment, mobile devices, and peripherals. Providing an IT walkthrough of policies and procedures and usage of IT equipment provided.
- Assist with configuration and troubleshooting of printing services at onsite office locations.
- Basic mobile support for iOS and Android devices including configuration of MFA and Outlook and Teams mobile setup.
- Installation and maintenance of various electronic peripherals such as monitors, TV, tablets, etc.
- Other miscellaneous IT and office support.
- Administer and support the Microsoft 365 suite: O365, Entra, Intune, and SharePoint environments (customizing SharePoint site pages, creating/managing custom workflows, managing content in lists and libraries, migrating SharePoint sites, managing site, folder, and file permissions).
- Perform routine system maintenance tasks and audits, monitor environment health, and respond to any critical issues.
- Support Entra and O365 related tasks, including user/group management, security permissions, and group/conditional access policies.
- Configure and manage IT infrastructure, including network connectivity, print services, cloud file storage management, and hardware management.
- Daily monitoring and immediate response and triaging for security alerts, risks, or concerns as they arise with proper documentation detailing the assessment and handling of the risk.
- Provide cybersecurity training during new hire orientations and look for other areas for continuous learning opportunities for employees.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to develop and implement system upgrades and IT strategies that align with business objectives.
- Assist with evaluating, implementing, and deploying new tools and technologies to improve team productivity and system security.
- Create and update technical documentation (SOPs/KBs), “how-to” guides, and user training materials.
- Manage IT asset inventory, including provisioning, refurbishing, and tracking hardware resources.
Requirements
Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite including Azure, Entra, Office 365, Intune, and SharePoint administration.
- Strong understanding of Windows OS (Windows 10/11), network connectivity (LAN/WAN), and remote access solutions.
- Experience supporting iOS and Android devices, including setup and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of basic networking concepts, including router and switch management, firewalls, and VPN configuration.
- Physical ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
Qualifications:
- US Citizenship.
- Minimum of 2 years in a helpdesk or technical support role.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently to resolve issues and research new solutions.
- Ability for possible travel up to 30 miles between office locations.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience with SharePoint customization and workflows, and familiarity with SharePoint Designer.
- Proficiency with Excel for data management, tracking, reporting, and data visualization.
- Advanced networking knowledge (firewall, router, switch, cloud VLAN management).
- Experience with PowerShell.
- Experience with WordPress.
- Knowledge of VOIP systems, device inventory management, and electronic security systems.
- Familiarity with Mac OS X environments and support.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator Associate) are a plus.
