About the Job
Kaimetrix is currently seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team supporting the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) . This role is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and equipment, providing direct hands-on support to enhance the success of classroom activities and daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot computer issues
- Manage file permissions
- Conduct equipment refreshes, including the Firefly project refresh in G5
- Perform USMT backup and restore
- Configure and update hardware and software
- Support Samsung devices, including importing certificates
- Provide conference room support, including connecting to wireless networks, and managing audio and video setups
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT hardware and software issues efficiently
- Strong knowledge of network configuration, including client image management
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong communication skills, capable of working constructively with end users and team members
- Previous experience working in a government or law enforcement environment is preferred
- Commitment to providing high-level support with minimal disruption to users
- Ability to obtain a government clearance
Education:
- Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- US Citizen
