Full Time Days | 8:30am-5pm | Monday-Friday

United Methodist Communities in Camden County, a 5-Star full-service senior living community that is a model in person-centered care community, located in beautiful Collingswood, NJ is seeking an IT Support Technician.
Requirements for an IT Support Technician:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Associate's degree in computer science preferred.
- Requires 2-3 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing a combination of hardware and software.
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft applications.
Responsibilities for an IT Support Technician:
- Provides support and assistance to end users in the area of operating systems, networking connections, and information systems.
- Troubleshoot the reasons for the fault and explain the fault to end users if appropriate.
- Configure and deploy new hardware including desktops, laptops, tablets, phones, copiers, and other devices.
- Records problems and their solutions for future reference; tracks problems for a timely resolution. Maintains IT asset inventory systems and technical support documentation.
- Handle tickets escalated from the Help Desk in a timely manner. Provide follow-up to users after initial visit. Retain ownership of own assigned tickets and update ticket logs daily.
- Adds, deletes or changes staff network access, application passwords. Maintains organization wide email accounts, resolves email issues, and notifies end users on all changes.
- Assists in evaluating end user needs and recommends appropriate equipment and software configurations.
- Provide technology support and education on hardware and software to UMC associates and residents.
