IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities for IT Support Technician
It is the responsibility of qualified service technicians to maintain good working order and diagnose any problems with the hardware they're responsible for servicing or repairing. Also, they should be capable of repairing, replacing, or installing complex machinery and devices, in the credit card payment processing industry.
Qualifications for IT Support Technician
- Making sure new hardware and complex products work correctly and safely while installing them
- Instructing hardware users about proper usage and maintenance
- Diagnosing and repairing broken or damaged equipment in the field or in a repair shop
- Analyzing hardware and installation functionality and preparing maintenance and repair reports
- Getting customers to replace or repair key components or hardware devices when necessary
- Maintaining friendly and professional customer relations
- Presenting complex installation, diagnostic, and repair issues in a way that is accessible to non-technical people
- Preferably bilingual (both English & Spanish language)
