About The Role
Are you passionate about IT and looking to make an impact? We are seeking a Systems Administrator to oversee and manage all aspects of our information technology infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies, ensuring network security, and managing essential software applications. You will serve as the go-to expert, providing technical support to our employees and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that IT initiatives are aligned with our business goals.

Your ResponsibilitiesIT Management & Development
- Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions.
- Serve as direct liaison to all companywide IT vendors. Creating strong partnerships and ensuring best practice and security.
- Develop, refine, and implement IT processes, policies and procedures.
- Analyze processes, technologies, and vendors continually to find areas for improvement.
- Ensure network components work together seamlessly to meet business needs, using their full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitor solutions.
- Recommend, procure and manage hardware, software, and IT-related services and equipment inventory.
- Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly.
- Install, configure, maintain and train employees to use hardware and software systems
- Manage user accounts and access to systems
- Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.
- Proactively identify and address IT issues, working closely with other departments to implement solutions and mitigate risks.
- Provide technical support to remote and onsite users; investigate and resolve escalated IT-related matters in a timely and effective manner.
- Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Regularly test backup and recovery processes to ensure they are effective.
This Role is a Good Fit if You
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Have 3 years of experience in IT, specifically in a solo role, with a proven ability to independently manage and troubleshoot a wide range of IT functions.
- Possess hands-on experience with systems such as Device Management, Windows OS, Office 365, Intune MDM, Azure, PowerShell, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Have a strong background in configuring, installing, and maintaining both hardware and software systems.
- Excel at developing IT processes, policies, and procedures to ensure business alignment and efficiency.
- Enjoy providing technical support and training to employees, helping them navigate new systems and resolve IT issues.
