About The Role
We are seeking a hungry Systems Administrator (Microsoft) to support and enhance our Microsoft hybrid-cloud environments, with a focus on providing top-tier support to our Windows and macOS users.
This role demands knowledge in Microsoft 365 Cloud products, including Entra ID, Intune, and Exchange Online, along with an understanding of Windows Server environments. Candidates should have experience in supporting Windows and macOS hardware and software, managing user accounts and access in a Microsoft environment, and ensuring system reliability and security.
Responsibilities include regular maintenance and troubleshooting of Windows-based systems, supporting Windows and macOS users, managing backups, and collaborating with the security team to uphold and improve our network and endpoint security posture. Additionally, you'll be responsible for documenting and continuously improving standard operating procedures (SOPs).
The ideal candidate is an effective communicator, detail-oriented, and has practical experience in Microsoft environments and supporting macOS systems. Familiarity with basic Linux commands and VMware is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of our technology infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Offer expert-level support to our business units and leadership, focusing on Microsoft technologies.
- Execute and complete infrastructure projects, adhering to timelines and project scopes.
- Contribute to and maintain process documentation, ensuring all procedures are current and effective.
- Follow strict change management protocols to maintain system stability.
- Proactively monitor system alerts, resolve incidents, and document solutions.
- Utilize strong troubleshooting skills to resolve complex system issues, conducting thorough root cause analyses.
- Collaborate with the security team on security alerts, implementing and improving network and endpoint security measures.
Requirements
Must Have Technical Expertise:
- Microsoft 365 / Entra ID: Knowledge in managing Microsoft 365 environments, including Entra ID (identity and access management), Intune (device management), and Exchange Online (email and collaboration).
- On-Premises Active Directory: Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory, including user/group management, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and hybrid identity integration with Entra ID.
- Network Fundamentals: Basic understanding of core network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs), and their use in an enterprise.
- Windows and macOS Support: Expert-level knowledge of Windows client operating systems (emphasis on Windows 10/11) and macOS for troubleshooting, configuration, and user support.
Good To Have Technical Expertise:
- Google Workspace Enterprise: Familiarity with Google Workspace administration and environment.
- Migration Experience: Experience migrating on-premises environments to Entra ID and Intune-based management.
- PowerShell: Knowledge in PowerShell scripting for task automation and configuration management.
- Linux: Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems and their use in the enterprise.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong focus on enhancing and securing IT environments.
- Able to demonstrate understanding with Microsoft 365 environments, including Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online.
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of on-prem Microsoft server technologies, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and integrating with Entra ID for hybrid identity management.
- Experience configuring and managing Google Workspace Enterprise.
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs).
- Experience in migrating environments to Entra ID and Intune.
- Familiarity with supporting Windows and macOS platforms.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
- Certifications from Microsoft and other relevant authorities are preferred.
