IT Systems Analyst - Piper Companies

Piper Companies is seeking an IT Systems Analyst to join a client that is an investment management and solutions company. This is a direct placement role with a hybrid on-site requirement of 3 days per week in Wayne, PA 19087.

Responsibilities:

• Gather & document requirements for various projects, primarily data focused.
• Produce scoping documents, as well as use cases, technical specs, source to target mapping documents, report requirements, etc.
• Translate business units’ needs into technical requirements for development team.
• Coordinate/facilitate meetings with technical & business resources, external teams, and vendors.
• Requirements Definition and Documentation, Systems Analysis and Design, System Integration, User Acceptance Testing, and Deployment Coordination.
• Create written communication materials that summarize findings and support recommendations.
• Translate data results into written reports, tables, graphs, and charts.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience in a BA role, documenting business & technical requirements.
• Data warehouse experience is required.
• Experience with/desire to PM projects, sometimes in addition to playing the BA role.
• Some experience as a product owner (or similar role) or strong desire to OWN efforts.
• Expertise and fluency in SQL is required.
• Experience gathering requirements on ETL projects required.
• Experience with data warehouse projects required.
• Proven experience with Tableau is required.
• Experience working with system vendors preferred.

Bonus Qualifications: Fluency in Python, Experience with reporting services, Practical experience as a Product Owner, Domain knowledge of Asset Management/Mutual Funds.

Compensation:

• $105,000 - $135,000
• Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.
