IT Technician Intern - PIPESTONE

OBJECTIVE:
As an IT Technician Intern, you will assist our IT department in maintaining and supporting the organization’s technology systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your technical skills, gain practical experience, and contribute to various IT projects.

Internship will take place between May-August 2025.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other duties as assigned)

• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues for end-users.
• Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, peripherals, and networks.
• Help maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
• Assist in setting up and deploying new workstations, printers, and other devices.
• Provide technical support via phone, email, and in-person to staff and clients.
• Document IT processes, procedures, and user guides.
• Participate in IT projects and initiatives as assigned.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance IT service delivery and user satisfaction.
• Hands-on experience in a real-world IT environment.
• Mentorship and guidance from experienced IT professionals.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Education:
Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:              
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows), and networking concepts.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Work Environment:
Primary location: Pipestone, MN, with regional travel required for events.
Office Setting

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Standing and moving for extended periods during events.

Additional Requirements:
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work
