Responsibilities:
- Install desktops, portable computers, peripherals, and software
- Detect, diagnose, and resolve software and hardware issues
- Provide user support and technical guidance
- Analyze service requests and deliver prompt solutions
- Conduct IT audits and prepare reports
- Utilize trouble-ticketing software efficiently
- Identify and document process improvements
- Communicate effectively with users
- Prepare equipment for reuse or surplus
- Perform software and hardware upgrades and installations
- Coordinate disassembly and reinstallation of IT equipment
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 1-3 years of general experience in data communications or computer systems (1 year specialized experience preferred)
- IT certifications applicable to desktop and mobile support desired
