Job Summary
The IT Asset Management (ITAM) Administrator’s role is to work within the ITAM Services Department to assist in facilitating all aspects of the ITAM lifecycle to support SHI customers. The ITAM Administrator will rotate through and support various aspects of the day-to-day normal business of the department and will utilize all the department’s tools and processes to support the separate business functions. The ITAM Administrator position is an ideal training ground to gain the foundational experience for a future position within the ITAM Department.
The ITAM Administrator can be based in either Austin TX, Somerset NJ, Paris France or Milton Keynes UK offices. The position will report into the ITAM Services Manager.

Responsibilities
Include but not limited to:
- Rotate and train through all ITAM business functions to shadow, learn and support with the respected ITAM related activities
- Gain overall understanding of all key ITAM related activities before deciding on a preferred area of specialization
- Pursue a certain elected area of specialization after having rotated and gained high-level knowledge of all key ITAM processes and procedures in all the business functions
- Contribute towards and/or create process documentation where applicable
- Thorough study, review and refresh of the department SOP processes
- Shadow the delivery team into the performance of all ITAM tasks, as well as customer calls
- Ensures all work is conducted professionally, ethically, and in a manner consistent with SHI quality standards
- Execute all ITAM Administrator tasks as directed by the ITAM department
- Processing PRO requests
- Analyze purchase records and other entitlement information (including contracts)
- Creating entitlement positions by analyzing customer purchase records and entitlement reports and uploading the corresponding data onto the ITAM Platform
- Loading and processing all data via ITAM department standard tools and systems.
- Normalize raw software records to create master software titles
- Research and gather market retail sales prices, customer specific pricing, average prices, product release & end of life dates, etc
- Assisting System engineers with installing and configuring inventory tools, setting up import and sftp jobs, as well as performing quality checks on imported data
- Supporting the data cleansing process by researching and training aliases and setting up recognition reports and dashlets
- Requesting creation of new software titles, as well as supporting the maintenance of the Managed Software Library within the ITAM Platform
- Supporting the Data Quality process for creating rules and creating workflow engines
- Perform administrative tasks to support service delivery activities; these are including but not limited to: accounts and project plans creation, storage of relevant documents, creation of meeting minutes and action items, distribution of status and financial reports to customers
Qualifications
- 1 year of relevant work experience in a Customer Service, Sales, or Technical role

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree
Certifications Required
The successful candidate will hold the following Mandatory certifications; if the certifications are not currently held the ITAM Administrator will be required to study and pass within a 12 month period of commencing the role.

- All LISA Training Modules
- Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900)
- All Microsoft Get Licensing Ready Courses
Supplemental certifications:
- Security Fundamentals (98-367)
- ITAM Select Vendor Program vendor training as requested
- Volume License (70-705)
Unique Requirements
- It is expected that this role will require periodic travel both nationally and internationally (10%).
- Extended hours are required to complete some special projects
Additional Information
- The estimated annual pay range for this position is $37,000 - $48,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
