Job Description:
Technical/Functional Skills
- Strong customer service and excellent verbal/written communication
- Excellent attention to details, ability to multitask, and effective time management skills
- Knowledge on development studio / similar ITSM development tools
- Knowledge on creation of ITSM workflows / templates
- Implementation knowledge in ITSM modules
- Understand full application lifecycle
- ITIL/BMC Remedy certified
- Knowledge in Web Services / RESTful API integration technologies
- Past work experience with industry leading providers of ITSM tools
- Good to have Knowledge of web based development languages; specifically JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, CSS
Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing/administering technical solutions on the ITSM tool platform to satisfy the business needs of the IT department and beyond.
- Good practice web programming techniques to configure robust solutions utilizing the ITSM platform while making informed recommendations to process users.
- Applies innovative technology to business processes in order to develop new solutions and troubleshoot issues
- Consults with Process Leaders to develop appropriate technical solutions in Service Now
- Follows up on outstanding development needs and provides timely status reports to the project manager
- Advises on options, risk and impacts on business/ITIL processes
- Communicates technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
