About the Job
As a Vice President, Self-Directed Investing Business Manager within J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, you will be a part of a lean team responsible for promoting growth for the JP Morgan Self-Directed Investing (SDI) business. You will work closely with the Self-Directed leadership team, collaborate with cross-functional partners and run day-to-day execution of the business agenda. Your role will be pivotal in defining the strategy, priorities and key metrics for growth, while working with key partners to deliver outcomes. This role provides an opportunity to accelerate growth by promoting client acquisition, encouraging client deepening, reducing client attrition and improving client satisfaction.
Job responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day business management for JPM Self-Directed Investing, including the coordination & development of all senior management presentations & events
- Prepare business review agendas & presentations, schedule & run business review prep sessions and coordinate follow-ups
- Help manage the SDI strategy, coordinating with cross-functional partners to achieve key business goals related to account growth, client satisfaction & retention
- Independently handle execution of certain strategic initiatives that have been approved
- Monitor emerging competitive trends and understand the broad self-directed industry
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- At least 7 years of experience in financial services
- Outstanding written & verbal communications with ability to tailor style to different constituencies
- Excellent attention to detail & organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deliverables at same time
- Self-starter with natural curiosity for the wealth management product, digital solutions, markets & investing
- Change agent passionate about driving business results through strategic financial planning & business management
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Wealth management & online brokerage experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree with a relevant Master's degree preferred
