About the Job
Job Summary:
- The Janitor/ Security is responsible to for the upkeep, cleanliness, and security of the facility.
- Perform janitorial cleaning of the shop, office work spaces, restrooms, break rooms and buildings
- Maintain grounds free from trash and litter
- Maintain custodial stock room
- Scrub and mop floors on a daily basis and vacuum carpeted areas
- Dust and disinfect common areas
- Clean floors in and around shop several times a day to maintain shop floor clear of debris
- Empty trash daily on shop floor, restrooms and offices
- Collect and dispose of scrap metal
- Operate and drive forklift, following the Company’s safety rules and procedures
- Perform security duties during shifts 2 & 3, including checking perimeter and securing gates and doors
- Perform waste handling duties, such as labeling containers and properly storing items/containers based on compatibility
- Carries out day-to-day work following the departments continuous improvement plan
Non-Essential Functions:
In accordance with LeFiell’s Company policies, promote safety by working in a safe manner at all times
Perform other duties as assigned by Management
