Janitorial Attendant - Jubitz Corporation

Jubitz is currently seeking a Janitorial Attendant to add to our Custodial team! In your first 90 days, you will get to know your team, and learn standard operating procedures for your position. We are looking for a motivated, punctual, and hard-working person.

• Wage: $16.75 - $17.75(Depending on experience)
• Schedules: 8:00am - 4:30pm(Monday - Friday)
• Work Status: FT
• Location: Portland

Skills & Experience:

• One year of janitorial, cleaning, or maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of various types of chemicals, carpet cleaners, floor finishes, acids, chemical mixing, and hazardous materials handling.
• Knowledge of various machines, including buffers, scrubbers, vacuum filter systems, and power snakes is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals required.
• Ability to maintain punctual, regular and predictable attendance.

Additional Notes:

This role is responsible for maintaining facility buildings by performing a variety of janitorial duties, including dusting furniture, washing windows, sweeping, mopping and waxing floors, replenishing restroom supplies, and replacing light bulbs. Ensuring building accessibility and professional appearance at all times by picking up trash, removing ice and snow from walkways, and keeping all walk areas free of safety hazards and debris. Safely operate a variety of cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, vacuums, and tile grout cleaning machines.
