Position Summary:
This position provides Jasper Central support of the Student Account and General Ledger service systems including all related modules of Ellucian/Banner software and TouchNet payment systems. This position manages the implementation and maintenance of all support systems including eBilling and receipting, refunding and eRefunds,, issuance of 1098-T tax statements, and cashiering and payment platforms such as payment plans, check scanning, deposit payment gateways, marketplace platforms, etc. The Specialist acts as a lead in performing systems analysis of computer and network systems that encompass information technology and data from student accounts, student enrollment records, sources of financial aid,, housing module records, admissions records and other institution accounts. Supports the strategic plan, mission, and vision of the College. The candidate is under the supervision of the Executive Director of Jasper Central.
Priority Responsibilities:
- Review, develop, design, test, implement, and maintain complex reports and report modifications using SQL from within the Ellucian Banner Accounts Receivable module, FormFusion eVisions, Argos, and with related Touch Net systems and other student account and banking applications.
- Manage and maintain all Banner Accounts Receivable, Banner Document Management Systems (BDMS), Banner Communications Manager, and TouchNet products configurations for semester/annual setup and updates; including configurations for online credit card payments and ACH processing. Prepares/runs scheduled and ad hoc reports
- Plan, generate, track and analyze system outputs for tuition and fee calculation/assessment,, eBilling, aging of accounts and Application of Payment, late fee charge assessment, feeds of data to Finance, modules for eDeposits, contracts and exemptions, refunds of Title IV credit balances and general account overpayments, 1098-T tax statement processing, and other baseline Banner processes.
- Develop, implement and maintain TouchNet Marketplace platforms for unique payment processing and online payment of auxiliary items.
- Investigate and resolve data quality issues and escalate situations according to department processes. Check daily job status queue for overnight jobs with errors or partial completion flags. Supports Student Accounts team as system expert, a system trainer, and "super user" for Accounts Receivable, Financial Aid and Student Modules.
- Work closely with staff to continuously gather and analyze day-to-day requirements.
- Assist with resolution of issues by providing reporting solutions and troubleshooting hardware/software, PC and printer problems. Successfully liaise with the IT department on various projects.
- Determine priorities and create plans for continued support and implementation of additional administrative system features as needed to support the strategic objectives of the office.

Salary range: $50,000-$60,000
