Job Description:
Client is seeking to hire a high-performing Investment Banking Capital Market IT team as a Java Developer, working on the latest technology stack and solving complex business problems. The team is working in an Agile framework with a fast ready-to-deliver environment. This role is based out of Jersey City; hybrid roles are 2-3 days/week in the office (no option for fully remote).
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
" Candidates with 6-8 years of experience in Java/J2EE development in the Investment Banking Capital Markets domain
" Experience in designing and building high-performance, high-availability, scalable, distributed applications capable of supporting straight-through processing of large amounts of data
" 5+ years experience with web services development using SpringBoot / REST APIs
" Experience in the following technologies is required: J2EE / Spring / Hibernate / Multithreading / JMS / MQ
" Experience in databases like Oracle, Sybase, etc.
" Experience and functional domain knowledge of Prime Services is a plus
" Agile development experience is valuable
" 5+ years of experience with Unix
