Responsibilities include:
Design and develop robust software in embedded, real-time environment under Linux.
Integrate software subsystems, document changes, and provide timely support to other development groups
Qualifications
BS in Computer Science.
5 7 years of experience developing software applications with Java in a Unix/Linux environment.
5 - 7 years of experience developing multithreaded software systems.
Strong knowledge of Java.
Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to effectively communicate ideas and solutions to software development problems in written and verbal form
Desired Requirements
MS in Computer Science.
Experience in UNIX shell scripting.
Experience in Java Ant Tool , JNI , C++/C.
Knowledge of version control tools.
Set Top Box software development experience is a plus.
