Java Developer - Secret Clearance at Technical Staffing

We are staffing a full-time position as a Java Software Developer for a growing organization.  The person in this role will be a member of a development team focused on the development of web-based applications that analyze big data and visualize the results in multiple dimensions and views. You will become familiar with the application of best-of-breed opensource software, advanced data analytic techniques and machine learning algorithms to solve challenging questions.

Requirements include:

• Must be a US CITIZEN and eligible to obtain a clearance
• Experience programming in Java, HTML/JavaScript
• JUnit testing
• SQL databases
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
• 2+ years of relevant work experience
• BS in Computer Science or Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience

Desired skills include:

• JavaScript Framework; e.g., VueJS
• Shell scripting
• UNIX/Linux fundamentals
• PostgreSQL database
• Agile and Scrum development
• Geospatial Information System (GIS) programming
• Continuous integration and deployment
