About the Job
Our company is looking for an experienced and dedicated Regional Sales Manager to expand our customers and increase sales in specific districts. You must have a prior experience in regional sales and a proven track record of managing the sales team. We are looking for candidates with a strategic approach to sales and supervising sales persons remotely.
Responsibilities/Duties
We expect you to follow some responsibilities and duties as laid down by our company to be a successful Regional Sales Manager.
1. Create regional sales plan and assign required budgets.
2. Oversee product orders and shipments according to regional requirements.
3. Mentor and provide support to assistant managers.
4. Set sales targets for stores and coordinate with them to provide inventory.
5. Prepare monthly and quarterly sales reports and submit them to sales managers.
6. Evaluate products and set metrics on specific products.
7. Promote products by keeping close contact with store managers and media.
8. Be a point of contact for vendors, brokers, and distributors in your region.
9. Inform managers of defaults in arriving at sales goals and resolve issues relating to product sales.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Salas Management, or related field.
2. Proven experience as Regional Sales Manager or Area Manager or similar role.
3. Familiar with CRM software.
4. Sound knowledge of store operations.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Problem-solving skills and strong organizational skills.
7. Ability to travel as and when needed.
8. Ability to set performance metrics and indicators such as ROI, KPI, etc.
9. Ability to monitor and motivate the sales team and make them perform better.
