Job title: Benefit Manager/ Administrator / Management Consultant Specialist

- 15 – 20 years of experience in Benefits
- Benefit Admin, Medical, 401k, and Rx background.
- Comprehensive Benefit Administration: Oversee and ensure compliance for US benefit programs including medical/pharmacy, Spending and Saving Accounts, and Benefits Administration - including vendor performance, account management, review meetings and onsite visits
- Identify and make continuous improvements in administration, to deliver an outstanding experience for employees
- Understand the utilization/financial analysis of assigned benefit plans, recommending strategies to address trends; review rates/renewals and performance guarantee arrangements/results with benefit plan analyst
- Partner with Health Benefits lead to implement assigned benefit plan changes for company-sponsored benefit groups
- Partner with Communications team and other benefits plan team members to develop, implement and manage assigned benefit plan communication materials, including internal and external communications
- Ensure compliance of federal laws to include, but not limited to Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and Internal Revenue Code applicable to assigned benefit plans
- Understand the laws and their impact to the plans working closely with internal and external legal counsel to develop required notices, plan amendments, plan documents and other required documentation
- Use a data-driven approach to critically evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of current programs.
- Assist, advise, and counsel employees and dependents on complex or sensitive benefit-related questions (via email, phone, walk-ups, and drop-in sessions)
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
- Good understanding of industry, associated business challenges and opportunities for particular area of expertise
- Excellent communication skills, including both verbal and written
- Demonstrated research, writing and analytical skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work under pressure
