It provides solutions to diamond partners through servicing a supply chain platform that connects manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.
Our Jewelry Photographer will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day production needs of our e-commerce jewelry photography team. They will photograph fine jewelry and bridal collections in our high tech light boxes. The right candidate will be flexible, highly organized, efficient, detailed oriented, and have a helpful and friendly attitude. They will be excited to develop their knowledge of product photography and learn new skills relevant to imaging. They will have a passion for learning and be self-motivated to pitch new ideas.
Responsibilities:
- Photograph jewelry using our in-house photography system
- Ensure the images are crisp, well-lit, properly focus stacked, and true to the product
- Organize and name files and folders correctly
- Collaborate with teammates on styling ideas and consistency in lighting and angles
- Ensure fast turnaround of images and that deadlines for launching new collections are met
- Implement a meticulous and creative approach to the photography process
- Focus stack, composite, and blend images in preparation for final retouching
- Ensure all necessary images have been shot and are accounted for
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensure professional use of chemicals (denatured alcohol) and other jewelry cleaning supplies
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Degree in Photography or related field is preferred
- Proficient in Photoshop
- Strong sense of responsibility and preciseness
- Self-starter attitude and ability to exercise judgment and solve difficult problems
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
- Team player
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently
Base pay $20.00 -$25.00 per hour. Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications.
