Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Jira Administrator/Analyst in Herndon, VA .
.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Perform all steps, including requirements management, configuration, testing and deployment of financial system application Help Desk into Jira
+ Implement and support Jira ticketing system
+ Perform system administration for the Jira ticketing system
+ Execute Tier 1 and 2 Help Desk activities including the following:
+ Resetting passwords, creating/modifying/removing accounts
+ Receiving and answering calls/emails from system users
+ Explaining and resolving Jira roles and rights issues
+ Install software
+ Perform patching tasks
+ Execute and maintain backups
+ Reviewing connectivity issues and identifying next steps
+ Provide excellent customer service to ensure continuous business operations
+ Ability to identify and document areas of process improvement or enhancement
+ Desktop troubleshooting, desktop support, migration of IT equipment, and asset management of all IT components
+ Initiate preventive maintenance, analyze system faults, troubleshoot, and run diagnostic tests on operating system and hardware to detect problems as well as be capable of repairing system/environment problems
+ Conduct performance monitoring and tuning
+ Support Jira add-ons (I.e. Confluence, Bit Bucket, Subversion, Zephyr)
Require d Qualifications :
+ 4+ years desktop support experience and Microsoft Server Experience
+ 2+ years in a role directly supporting customers in a technical capacity
+ 2+ years of experience with Jira
+ Experience with Desktop, Desktop operating systems, and printing technologies
+ Experience with Microsoft Windows Server
+ Security + (IAT II) Certification must obtain within 6 months of hire
Desired Skills and Certifications:
+ Microsoft Server Certifications
+ Linux experience
+ Understanding of networking, TCP/IP, firewalls, switching and routing.
+ Understanding of DoD IA security policies, controls, and documentation
Security Clearance Requirements:
+ Secret, JAFAN eligible
Physical Requirements:
+ The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
+ Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
