JIRA Manager - Qualis Corporation

Qualis Corporation is seeking a JIRA Administrator to be responsible for creating and organizing new projects on the JIRA platform, as well as configuring the layout, design, workflow, and dashboard. The JIRA Administrator designs, manages, and maintains databases, evaluates configuration and access, resolves database performance/capacity issues and performs database recovery and back-up.

Duties:

• Evaluates Jira and Jira Confluence reports and dashboards for possible tailoring or configuration for Enterprise data
• Configures and/or automates Jira and Jira Confluence reports
• Produces Jira and Confluence reports
• *Provides support on any implementation of tools from Jira Marketplace for reporting
• Experience:
  • Jira reports and dashboards
  • Jira Confluence reports and dashboard
  • Implementing reporting
  • Experience with documenting business processes or reporting workflow
  • Produces reporting
  • Analytics skills to evaluate reporting
• Administers existing Trouble Ticketing and Problem Reporting (TTPRS) System, using JIRA
• Participates in the strategic planning process using Atlassian tools to provide cross-organization traceability to program goals, initiatives, and available resources.
• Responsible for configuring the current layout, design, workflows, dashboards, reports, advanced roadmaps, automation rules, notification schemes, permission schemes, integration points and general Jira hygiene in close collaboration with the team.
• Work with Product and Project Managers to document use of Jira and publish guides (training material) & best practices.
• Develop test plans and implement changes to Jira environment, and update documentation accordingly.
• Serve as technical lead for Jira platform providing in-depth troubleshooting as needed.
• Review various JIRA Software projects and use of common platform workflows. Make recommendations to reduce duplications, conflicts, or high-risk configurations.
• Facilitate use of issue trackers, wikis, source control systems, etc. to share knowledge across various teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science (equivalent work experience may substitute for education)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Atlassian JIRA, Confluence required
• JIRA Service Management Fundamentals (Preferred or ability to obtain)
• Security + CE (preferred)
• Must hold an active DoD Secret security clearance
