Job Captain II
We seek a highly organized and experienced Job Captain II to join our client’s team. This role involves working closely with clients and the internal project team to complete sets of project contract documents, including construction drawings, equipment schedules, and specifications. The candidate will monitor project schedules, ensure the accuracy of construction documents, and coordinate directly with clients to meet design aesthetics and project requirements. They will also estimate project hours and prepare work authorizations with the Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ADA codes and city requirements, diverse knowledge of interior architectural principles, and the ability to manage the plan check process.
Furthermore, the successful candidate will contribute to the construction administration phase, provide quality control, and mentor a small team of designers when necessary. We are looking for an individual who excels in communication, both with clients and internally, to ensure successful project outcomes and foster strong client relationships. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp, and optionally 3DMax, is a prerequisite. A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate interiors, is preferred.
