Job Description
NAOVI is seeking a qualified Journeyman Academic Outreach Advisor for the following task:
Primary responsibilities:
- Reviews and disseminates information sharing activities with academic partners, evaluates and establishes efforts to increase academic outreach and participation.
- The Academic Advisor will be required to provide support or backfill gaps for advisement efforts with Academic Institutions.
- Uses the DEIA Maturity Framework and Constituent Relationship Management Tool to facilitate identification, categorization, documentation, collaboration, and reporting of current and future Partners.
- Uses the service request tool to receive, process, and monitor requests for specific services from customer and contractor staff.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and oral communications skills, to include rules of composition and grammar, and the ability to convey complex information and ideas clearly to employees at all staff levels.
- Familiarity with foreign affairs, partnerships, and outreach.
- Knowledge of the national security, academic and intelligence communities to include intelligence policy, IC missions, and interagency coordination to build and sustain effective working relationships and promote the sharing of information.
- Experience working with academic institutions and organizations, to include entities, associations, and groups that facilitate threat information sharing with non-IC entities.
- Interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including an ability to work effectively both independently and in a team or collaborative environment and to sustain professional networks both internal and external to the customer.
- Demonstrated ability to apply support concepts, principles, and practices while dealing with a variety of time-sensitive technical and administrative requirements and procedures. Ability to manage competing priorities under strict deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail, good organizational skills and out standing time management skills.
Education/Experience and Security Clearance:
- Requires BA/BS and 7+ years of experience or no degree and 10+ years of experience.
- ALL Candidates must Currently possess an Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph security clearance required.
