Journeyman Computer and Information Systems Analyst - Sabre Systems Inc.

Sabre Systems is currently recruiting for aJourneymanComputer and Information Systems Analyst to support customers at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD.  The program is providing systems engineering support of weapons systems on various platforms including technical research and development of technologies, analysis, and documentation as part of the acquisition of Aircraft, Weapon, and Integrated Systems and the evaluation of their technical performance, mission suitability and associated acquisition risks throughout the full acquisition process and lifecycle of a program. 

The selected candidate will be responsible for not limited to:

• Collects information to analyze and evaluate
• Performs logical and physical systemdesign and reviews and prepares system documents and specifications
• Conducts technical research onsystem upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with system
• Prepares, reports, studies, and documentation is required
• Delivers presentations and participates in meetings
• Works onspecial problem areas; administers complex areas of the network, security analysis, and planning
• Works in mid-sized, client-server systems, in systems analysis, software design, software development,and database administration
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, andindependent verification and validation techniques
• Will work independently and as part of a team inresearching data and developing analytical techniques and methodologies
• Responsible for assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional duties underthe oversight of more senior positions

 Requirements:

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific discipline
• Must have three (3) or more years of related experience
• Must know systemacquisition practices required to design, develop, integrate, test, and manufacture a major system isrequired
• Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
• Must be a US Citizen
