Journeyman Electrician - TechUSA

Tech USA is currently seeking Journeyman Electricians for a full time position to be a part of a dynamic and diverse team in Phoenix, AZ.  This electrical contractor is an innovative electrical contracting firm specializing in design-build, commercial and industrial projects

Responsibilities:

• The ability to successfully work within your team on a project start to finish. Read/Learn to Read and understand blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams, to ensure professional and code compliant installs.
• Must be a self-starter capable of helping our Field Managers to build our projects successfully.
• Installation of new electrical systems and repairing of existing electrical systems while maintaining compliance with national, state, and local electrical codes.
• Size and install wire, conduits and junction boxes
• Underground layout and rough-in
• Execution of electrical installations in compliance with the National Electrical Code and the local authority having jurisdiction
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, conduit, etc. and install wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems and other wire raceway systems.
• Feed, pull, and terminate wire and cable within control centers, distribution boxes, transformers, switch gear, meter housings, receptacles, switches, etc.
• Maintain professional performance while in the field
• Update inventory records in shop as inventory is removed
• Perform installation of new electrical systems.
• Commercial retrofits and replacements

Requirements:

Must possess the following:

• 5+ years' experience with Commercial Electrical New Construction
• High level of professionalism 
• Ability to effectively plan, organize, delegate and control the work process.
• Strong interpersonal and people skills.
• Reliable Transportation 
• Pass a drug test
• Must have own tools and PPE
• Good written and oral communications skills
