Journeyman Electrician - Malace HR

Malace|HR is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to work onsite at an automotive manufacturer in Pontiac, MI. The position comes with FULLY PAID HEALTH INSURANCE. Qualified Candidates will possess the below skills/abilities

Responsibilities

• ​Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, maintain or alter electrical services, equipment, and controls using approved and properly sized wire, conduit, raceways, and equipment
• Work will be performed both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions
• Work with high- and low-voltage systems, to troubleshoot and repair
• Maintain work area and equipment in a safe, efficient, and clean operating conditions
• Strictly adhere to all safety rules and regulations
• Report to supervisor any equipment in need of repair or any unsafe situation or condition
• Operate efficiently, all hand/power tools, test instruments and equipment normally used by this trade and maintain/return in good condition
• Assist in performing other duties, including work of other trades as required

Qualifications

• Requires minimum of State of Kansas/Missouri or UAW Journeyman's Card
• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Journeyman Electrical License
• Valid state driver's license in good standing
• Superior customer service skills and orientation
• Ability to maintain professionalism always and under stressful situations
• Ability to multi-task and work without direction supervision
• Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints
• Strong organizational skills and collaborative style needed
• Must be able to perform physical activities such as bending, standing, climbing, or walking
• Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in Building Maintenance
