Peraton is seeking a highly qualified Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in support to the upcoming LONG-RANGE ENTERPRISE INTELLIGENCE, SURVEILLANCE, AND RECONNAISSANCE ACTIVITY (LEIA) in Honolulu, HI. As part of a highly talented, motivated, team, you will support a fast-paced program delivering a broad spectrum of Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber Defense, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C6ISR) capabilities to support SOCPAC missions and it’s AORs. ******POSITION IS CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT AWARD********** Duties and responsibilities include: The ISSO will be responsible for the day-to-day security operations of the LEIA information systems including but not limited to:
- Ensure the day-to-day implementation, oversight, continuous monitoring, and maintenance of the security configuration, practices, and procedures for each IS
- Support the Authority to Operate (ATO) and Authority to Connect (ATC) processes
- Ensure that selected security controls are implemented and uploaded to eMASS and/or Xacta
- Ensure that system security documentation is developed, maintained, reviewed, and updated on a continuous basis
- Review vulnerability scans and DISA STIG assessments
- Develop Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs) and coordinate corrective actions or mitigations and track the timely completion of (POAMs)
- Ensure that changes to an IS, its environment, and/or operational needs that may affect the authorization status are reported to the system owner and IS Security Manager (ISSM)
- Lead the Incident Response process
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years with BS/BA or 9 years with a HS Diploma. Additional experience may be considered in Lieu of higher education
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
- Possess DoDM 8140.03- Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level II Baseline Certification
- Risk Management Framework and Assessment and Authorization processes and related policies
- Familiarity with cloud computing and related security concepts
- Working knowledge of digital communications and related IT communications technologies
- Direct experience with patch management, continuous monitoring, and vulnerability scanning/remediation activities
- Proactive and forward-leaning

- Prior experience as an ISSO or ISSE
- Prior experience working with USSOCOM
