Description/Job Summary

 We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures. • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Help with the preparation of tax returns and compliance documents.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process and financial forecasting.
• Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and efficiencies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience (internships included).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Working knowledge of Vista software is a plus
