Jr. CAD Specialist - The Copper River Family of Companies

About the Job
Copper River Technologies is looking for a Jr. CAD Specialist to provide CAD customer service to catalog, retrieve, file and index in a common Electronic Data Management repository for CAD drawings.
This position will be on-site at the Pentagon.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Experience cataloguing and retrieving technical engineering reference materials.
- Experience designing and implementing cataloguing and tracking systems for reference materials.
- Experience filing and indexing drawings to a common EDMS repository and format.
- Experience consolidating disparate hardcopy and electronic repositories of documents into a central technical library
Qualifications:
- Security Clearance:
- Secret Security Clearance
- Education:
- Associate degree in Drafting or related physical or geospatial science such as Construction Technology, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction related field or a minimum of 2 years' experience retrieving and archiving technical engineering reference materials. Construction Specifications Institute's (CSI) CDT certification or related certifications will be accepted in lieu of education requirement.
- Required Knowledge/Experience:
- A minimum of two (2) years' experience using AutoCAD software
- Experience cataloguing and retrieving technical engineering reference materials.
- Experience designing and implementing cataloguing and tracking systems for reference materials.
- Experience filing and indexing drawings to a common EDMS repository and format.
- Experience consolidating disparate hardcopy and electronic repositories of documents into a central technical library
