Required:
- Familiarity US withholding and reporting for global employee share plan requirements.

- Previous employee share plan and tax production background would be advantageous.
- Comfortable with technology and technical concepts in a fast-paced changing environment.
- Aptitude for learning quickly with a solid understanding of the Internet, e-commerce and equities.
- Deep belief in team success, collaboration and a willingness to adapt to continuous change.
- Ability to work independently, handle numerous assignments concurrently and consistently be a self-starter that excels at meeting and exceeding professional goals.
- Support all aspects of tax filings in our global markets for our Stock Plan/Retirements business under Shareworks by concentrating on the US markets initially.
- Global markets include Canada, United States, Australia, United Kingdom, and New Zealand.
- The incumbent has the necessary skills to complete tasks on our proprietary software, Shareworks, excel and third-party tax programs, and has the necessary knowledge to conduct research for the different jurisdictions and any new countries that Shareworks moves into.
- Review and ensure 1099/1042-S Reporting is accurate.
- Update excel files for accurate reporting values.
- Ensure participant data is accurate.
- Attain appropriate approvals, document and confirm successful submissions per jurisdiction.
- Ensure that all tax filings and reporting for Corporate Clients and Shareworks by Morgan Stanley, are issued accurately and timely.
- Review IRS filings and State filings are accurate.
- Contribute to the annual tax production project plan to ensure that all relevant tasks are captured throughout the year.
- Perform all required testing on tax forms that are issued from Shareworks to ensure accuracy through preliminary reviews.
- Manage any special handling requirements for clients inclusive of tax form amendments for clients.
- Audit tax form generation to ensure all forms for all clients have been completed.
- Proactively provide project updates to Tax Manager as required to ensure the success of tax activities.
- Update processes and procedures policy portal as required.
