- Collaborates with HR staff to determine the short- and long-term information, department, and system objectives; develops a plan to modify or replace HRIS applications, modules, and systems to meet those objectives.
- Assesses current system and utilization; identifies and recommends improvements such as training, customization, and enhancements to maximize value and efficiency of the HRIS.
- Prepares reports and presents findings and recommendations to the Sr HRIS Analyst and HRIS Manager.
- Identifies, recommends, and programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
- Collaborates with other analysts and HRIS staff to plan, modify, and customize the HRIS and to test new applications and features.
- Performs various employee data imports and other mass changes using various system functions.
- Assists with preparing training materials, guides, and documentation.
- Provides user training and hands-on support.
- Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
- Maintains secure email system, user access, and user support.
- Support new business acquisition HRIS implementation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Familiarity with human resources policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
- Ability to keep information confidential.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and keep tasks on schedule and work independently.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Thorough understanding of functional analysis and system design.
- Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, knowledge of relational database, SQL, Transact SQL.
- At least three years of experience with HR business systems highly preferred.
- HRIS related experience a plus.
- Dayforce system experience a plus.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets.
- Must be able to operate a computer.
- Must be able to frequently communicate via telephone.
