Title: Jr. Network Security Engineer (Cybersecurity Analyst)
Work Location: DFW Airport Headquarters, 2400 Aviation Dr, DFW Airport, TX 75261
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00 am – 5 pm. 4 days onsite, 1 day remote per week.
Contract: 12+ months. Must be Authorized to Work in the US for Any Employer.
Pay: $45/hr W2 (plus 8 paid holidays and 15 days PTO)
Job Description:
We are seeking a Jr. Network Security Engineer to assist with the management of Network Security devices, focusing on securing the network perimeter through the operations of the firewall, virtual private networks (VPNs), intrusion detection system/intrusion prevention system (IDS/IPS), network access control (NAC), data loss prevention (DLP) and enterprise anti-virus solutions.The position will work under the general direction of IT Network Team Leader and Sr. Security Compliance Engineering Manager.
Required Experience (3+ years):
- Experience providing security engineering support for the infrastructure and applications across multi-site enterprise and data center environments.
- Experience utilizing various network security systems to provide security insight for Data Leakage Protection Systems, Web Filtering, Network traffic analytical software, Intrusion Detection / Prevention Systems.
- Experience maintaining and administering network security systems such as, Network Access Control (NAC), Encryption/Certificate Management Systems (SSL, HTTPS), Network Policy Security Manager (NPSM).
Preferred Certification:
- CCNA Certification
- Security+ Certification
Responsibilities:
- Provides security engineering support for the infrastructure and applications across multi-site enterprise and data center environments, including the implementation and troubleshooting of security infrastructure technologies and solutions to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of Clients and customer assets.
- Assists in securing company resources in the cloud, virtual and physical infrastructures.
- Utilizes various network security systems to best provide security insight in regards to executing job duties, such as Data Leakage Protection Systems, Web Filtering, Network traffic analytical software, Intrusion Detection / Prevention Systems.
- Maintains and administers network security systems such as, Network Access Control (NAC), Encryption/Certificate Management Systems (SSL, HTTPS), Network Policy Security Manager (NPSM).
- Assists in the install and support of security technologies such as Network Access Control, Encryption/Certificate Management Systems, Firewalls, VPN, Network and Host-Based IDS/IPS, SIEM, and Content Filtering.
- Assists in oversight of routers, switches, operating systems, and other technologies.
- Validates rulesets and control lists for the various access control systems such as firewalls, VPN etc.
- Assists in creating validation process such as alerts or procedural flows.
- Work with other ITS teams and business users to identify security solutions.
Airport Special Requirements:
- Must obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Airport Identification/Access Badge (badge) in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements in Chapter 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 1500 et al., and DFW Airport’s Airport Security Program within thirty (30) days from date of employment and maintain qualification for a SIDA badge upon each badge renewal.
- Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection (CBP) security access clearance within thirty (30) days from date of employment and maintain qualification for CBP security access clearance upon each CBP security access renewal.
- Ability to obtain CJIS certification in order to manage Department of Public Safety projects with sensitive data requirements.
