Jr. Server Technician (Data Center) at TEKsystems c/o Allegis Group

• Data Center Technicians operate, monitor, and support physical facilities conditions, rack, and cable equipment
• They inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems (such as piping, electrical, and mechanical system components)
• The Data Center Technicians read blueprints/schematics, conduct inspections of systems, and assess their working order
• Ensures that environmental and safety standards are consistently met, identifying problems and making repairs quickly
• Perform facility equipment (e.g., HVAC, electrical, security) maintenance
• configure and maintain PDU, complete necessary documentation, and adjust rack power distribution as needed
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and physical appearance (including cable management) of data centers and IDC / ICF rooms
• Perform regular facility inspections
• Rack and stack servers, network hardware
• Install and deinstall IT equipment (e.g., servers, switches, cabling) according to documented design requirements RMA / Warranty processing and management, including the gathering and shipping/receiving of parts Provide Layer 1 troubleshooting as needed
