Jr. System Administrator - Zachary Piper LLC

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Jr. System Administrator will support a government contract located in Elizabeth City, NC.

Responsibilities for the Jr. System Administrator:

·        Supports systems analysts, as well as Government personnel to ensure that the problem has been properly identified and that the solution shall satisfy the customer's requirements.

·        Provides technical expertise and guidance in IT specialties not covered by other specialists. Systems analysis in a specialized IT area(s), e.g. telecommunications, operating systems software, software / hardware integration, software validation, and verification preferred. Capable of defining all required database administration policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and SOP.

·        Troubleshoot issues to maintain 24/7 365 availability throughout all enterprise system environment development, Stage, Production, etc..)

·        Remediate any/all vulnerabilities for Business System applications.

·        Performs in all phases of systems development and implementation, with special emphasis on study and analysis, and testing and acceptance phases.

Qualifications for the Jr. System Administrator:

·        2 years of relative experience

·        Experience with Linux/UNIX

·        Expirence with Web application systems

• Security plus or Equivalent certification

Compensation for the Jr. System Administrator:

• $50,000 – $60,000 *Depending on Experience.
