Jr. Tax Accountant - US Group Services - Demant

The Junior Tax Accountant will assist with property tax, sales and use tax reporting, sales tax license registrations, business license and certificate registrations, tax resale/exemption certificates and with US state and local tax compliance for all US entities in all US jurisdictions. 

• Assists with filing, paying, and billing back all property tax filings for all entities in all jurisdictions
• Assists with maintaining up to date property information for each location
• Assists with opening and closing property tax accounts as needed to ensure property tax filing compliance based on the currently occupied locations
• Assists with research and resolution of tax notices for all entities in all jurisdictions
• Assists with registration and renewal of sales tax permits and licenses for all entities in all jurisdictions
• Assists with working with a 3^rd party provider to gather, upload and review all sales and use tax data and filings for all entities in all state and local jurisdictions
• Assists with obtaining, distributing, and paying all business licenses and certificates for all entities in all jurisdictions
• Assists with tracking the status of all business licenses and certificates for all entities ensuring compliance in all locations
• Assists with obtaining all tax resale/exemption certificates for all qualifying entities
• Complete all other tasks and projects assigned by management

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field is preferred
• One to three years’ experience with Sales and Use Tax, Property Tax and Business Licensing is preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel (i.e. VLOOKUP, pivot tables, advanced formulas)
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy is required
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Proven ability in complex problem solving and use of solid judgment skills
• Proven ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
