Requirements
- Four (4) years of practical experience, to include: electronics repair, maintenance and checkout; must demonstrate at least one (1) year of practical experience in electronics installation; experience may be achieved simultaneously
Desired Skills
- Experience with International Organization for Standardization/International Electrotechnical Commission/Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers: Systems and Software Engineering - Software Life Cycle
- Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications, or four (4) year electronics apprentice program. Formal electronics training, to include: Installation Tasks, Soldering, Cable Dressing, Cable Tray, Conduit, and Making/Repairing
- Cybersecurity WorkForce - individual shall meet the latest Cybersecurity Workforce certification/training in accordance with DoD 8570.1M and subsequent DoD 8140 manual, as applicable.
Description
This position will Support all AIS and JTT programs of record (POR) ashore and afloat platforms to include but not limited to Guided Missile Cruiser (CG), Carrier Volplane, Nuclear (CVN), Guided Missile Destroyer (DDG), Guided Missile Frigate (FFG), Land Attack Warfare Light Amphibious Warfare (LAW), Amphibious Missile Frigate (FFG), Land Attack Warfare Light Amphibious Warfare (LAW), Amphibious Command Ship (LCC), Littoral Combat Ship (LCS), Landing, Helicopter Assault (LHA), Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD), Landing, Platform Dock (LPD), Mine Counter Measures (MCM), Sub-Surface Ballistic Nuclear (SSBN), Submersible Ship, Guided Nuclear (SSGN), Submersible Ship Nuclear (SSN), Military Sealift Command (MSC) Auxiliary General, Ocean Surveillance (T- AGOS), Military Sealift Command (MSC) Advanced Recovery Control (T-ARC) and Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV).
- Performs such tasks as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronics
- Takes test readings using common instruments such as multi-meter, time-domain reflectometer, and optical time-domain
- Assists engineering staff members in design, fabrication, integration and testing of electronic circuits and mechanical packaging including the development of electrical and mechanical
- Performs detailed design tasks requiring the application of CAD equipment; designs projects such as simulation, printed circuit boards, and electronic and electrical assemblies requiring development of schematics.
- Performs on-site installation, troubleshooting, and testing of company products and

- Interprets cable block diagram, cable run sheets, and other engineering products related to various C4I projects.
- Develops test procedures, test plans, test reports, and procedures to maintain lab facilities and calibrate test equipment. May conduct engineering tests and detailed experimental
- Establishes procedures for the maintenance facilities and equipment including cable diagrams, equipment schematics, and configurations to support various system
