Position Overview
- Document Handling: Efficiently draft pleadings, file pleadings with the court, order records, and effectuate service of process.
- Information Management: Accurately coordinate and schedule hearings and other court appearances.
- Material Organization: Coordinating and adhering to specific civil court procedures, maintaining deadlines, calendars and updating internal case management systems.
- Client Communication: Engage with clients to provide updates and collect necessary information.
- System Updates: Ensure servicer and firm processing systems are up to date with accurate information.
- Timely Compliance: Adhere to legislative, investor, and client-driven foreclosure timelines and other directives.
- Team Support: Offer valuable support to legal assistants and attorneys in their daily tasks.
- Additional Tasks: Embrace other related duties and contribute to a dynamic team environment.
Experience and Competencies
Required:
- Over 1 year of experience with Texas Home Equity Foreclosure and/or Arkansas judicial foreclosure processes and related documentation.
Preferred:
- System Knowledge: Familiarity with servicer foreclosure processing systems like BKFS, Tempo, or similar intermediary system.
- Adaptability: Skill in rapidly adjusting to new challenges and changes.
- Work Environment: Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume team setting
- Collaboration: Aptitude for working collaboratively to achieve team goals
- Timeline Management: Knack for managing deadlines and ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Work Location and Schedule:
We practice law across Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, and Washington. Our York, Nebraska office supports all locations. This hybrid position requires onsite presence 2-3 days per week after a 90-day training period and upon management approval. Typically, your schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Physical Demands:
- Frequently required to sit, talk, or hear.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
