Position Overview:
The Junior Account Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans for our firm’s key accounts. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing, this role involves managing and nurturing business relationships with key accounts while collaborating closely with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of account strategies. You will have the opportunity to make a real impact, driving both client satisfaction and company success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts through direct, in-person interactions to ensure long-term client satisfaction
- Develop and execute tailored sales and marketing plans for key accounts, striving to exceed sales and margin targets
- Expand existing product offerings and identify new opportunities for growth within key accounts
- Collaborate with various internal teams across departments to ensure the seamless execution of sales orders and account activity
- Regularly interface with clients to provide high-level support, troubleshooting, and ensuring that their needs are met
- Work with the marketing department to identify key marketing opportunities that will support and enhance sales efforts
- Collaborate with key accounts and the marketing department to build strategic, results-driven plans for clients
- Provide detailed sales reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing, capturing all relevant sales activity and account progress
- Monitor market trends and extract valuable insights from key accounts to inform future strategy
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), with a focus on relationship building and active listening
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal abilities, including the ability to present ideas effectively and listen to client needs
- Experience working collaboratively in a close-knit team environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for continuous growth and taking on leadership responsibilities
