The Junior Accountant's responsibilities include processing payments for all CWCapital companies, handling invoices for Disposition Services (REDS), processing corporate bills and ongoing payments, and handling travel expenses. This position can either be a full-time or part-time position.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the company account payables, ensuring timely payment of invoices, and gathering appropriate signatures.
- Process all payments for CWCapital companies and employees.
- Handle payment for all Special Servicing invoices.
- Assist in monitoring the Special Servicing mailbox for the Legal Department.
- Assist with special Asset Management requests for a property or project that needs same-day funding.
- Process Invoices for REDS.
- Process the companies accounting and travel expenses through Timberline and Concur.
- Analyze financial statements.
- Gather company card expenses and receipts for the transactions monthly.
- Handle corporate action processing as necessary.
- Establish, modify, and document accounting procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual financial statements, schedules, and ad hoc requests related to the annual audit of the financial statements.
- Assist in handling reimbursements for anything that is under the company's travel policy.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Two to five years proven experience in office or professional settings, with a focus on accounting, demonstrating adeptness and competency in relevant responsibilities.
The base salary range proposed for this role has been set forth to comply with local law, but salary is only one element of the total compensation for this role. The base salary range suggested above does not include compensation elements such as bonuses, overtime and deferred cash (each of which are applicable in certain roles), benefits, perquisites, and company contributions to employee 401(k) accounts. Such other pay components often result in total compensation materially exceeding base salary for a particular role. Total compensation as well as base salary for a role depend in part upon individual performance, years of service, experience, geographic considerations, the performance and the needs of particular business units, company performance, and general market conditions.
