Junior Buyer - Dynamic Sealing Technologies, Inc. (DSTI)

Dynamic Sealing Technologies, Inc. (DSTI) of Andover, MN is looking to hire a full-time Junior Buyer. As a Junior Buyer at DSTI you are primarily responsible for procuring critical raw materials, hardware, seals, bearings, electrical components and outside services to support sales quoting as well as manufacturing operations.

Typical Junior Buyer Responsibilities

• Assisting Schedulers for scheduling material for orders through all allocation areas and finishing areas.
• Expedite orders and communicate with appropriate partners to inform of delays, changes and what is needed to ensure timely delivery for customers.
• Review the order request tracker and create purchase orders in Epicor for non-inventory items.
• Complete weekly Uline and McMaster orders.
• Confirm and track all purchase orders for inventory and non-inventory items, as well as subcontract orders.
• Utilize the purchasing tool in our internal system to see if communication is relevant with the planning department on timing discrepancies.
• Update supplier contacts in outlook and Epicor as needed.
• Obtain current supplier documentation and upload in Epicor as needed (MNDA's, ISO Certs, and supplier change surveys).
• Work with suppliers to track down missing or incorrect delivery paperwork.
• Review and update pricing as needed.
• Collaborate with shipping and accounting teams.

Qualifications

• Experience sourcing raw materials and/or in custom manufactured services is preferred.
• Demonstrated computer skills including ERP systems and Microsoft Office products. We have many internally developed systems so the ability to quickly learn new software technology is critical to success.
• Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to act and operate independently.
• Ability to handle stressful situations including tight timelines and changing requirements.
• Willing to accept routine feedback and direction from peer team members.

Flexible Work Schedule

We are proud to offer flexible work schedules to help balance work and personal needs. A typical schedule for this position would be Monday - Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm with some flexibility. This is an on-site role.
